Claw Hold's gold paw coin, gripped in his claws

Night gate. One warning.

Claw Hold

That is not a smile. The gate is already closing.

Last Courtesy

Claw Hold works the night entrance beneath the old fish market. Every visitor presents one reason, one key, and both hands. He listens without blinking, checks the brass paw seal, then decides whether the gate remembers you. The coin never leaves his grip. Neither does the warning. If the left fang shows, turn around before the second whisker moves.

Terms of Entry

The route from knock to refusal is short, recorded in brass, and closed to appeal. Every pause means the same thing: leave while the hinges are still quiet. Entry terms never change.
